Elizabeth: The Golden Age (Working Title / Universal)

Shekhar Kapur explores the relationship between Elizabeth I and the adventurer Sir Walter Raleigh in his latest film “Elizabeth: The Golden Age”.

 

Stardust (Paramount)

Machine were entrusted to build over 60 of the magical shots, in the VFX filled fantasy world “Stardust”, such as the build of a CG unicorn horn, compositing a sequence shot underwater, intense weather enhancements, and a number of green-screen composites that include a rider-less carriage of an evil witch, played by Michelle Pfeifer.

 

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (Warner Bros.)

It was another magical visit to Hogwarts for Machine, as they created a wide range of shots for Harry’s fifth adventure “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix”.

 

Hot Fuzz (Universal / Rogue Pictures)

Delivering action packed shots for the police based comedy, “Hot Fuzz” was a VFX explosion! From flying pineapples to gunshot and debris enhancement, Machine was able to encompass an element of personality into it’s work.

 

The Last King of Scotland (DNA / Fox Searchlight)

Machine had sole responsibility for the VFX throughout the Oscar winning film “The Last King of Scotland”.

 

United 93

A frighteningly honest portrayal, played in real time using genuine accounts of the events on United Flight 93 which crashed on 9/11, United 93 is a heartbreaking film which uses VFX purely as a narrative tool.

 

Dancing On Ice (ITV)

To create a unique promo that would reflect a range of dance styles for ITV’s 2008 series “Dancing On Ice”, Machine’s artists worked with Director Oscar Cariss to create three virtual environments as backdrops for choreographed ice skaters.

 

Seabrooks Crisps (Mad Cow)

Machine was commissioned to create the visual effects for Mad Cow’s re-launch of crisp brand, Seabrooks in a VFX feast!

 

Channel 4 Idents (Channel Four)

Machine was chosen to tackle three key spots from the highly memorable new series of Channel 4’s TV idents, in which key actors and presenters are interviewed to camera with revealing results…

 

Films to See Before You Die (Film Four)
